One thing that I appreciate in this series that I've missed: thought balloons.

JB, Was there a particular reason why you changed the look of the
thought balloons?

YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?

I love that panel of the Beast getting hit by water- that expression and pose are so in character for him. It's so lively and a touch cartoonish, but not silly.

No-Prizes?

Scott's visor:  he keeps his old visor in his "back pocket" because it does different things than the new one (wider, more intense, more adjustable) and pops it on when needed.

"T'phrase a coin.."  -  our "mystery guest" has his catch phrase marketed on souvenir coins throughout the MU and that's what he's referencing

Your thought balloons seem less “cloud-like” to me. Also, you connect
the chain of bubbles leading to character while in the old days they
were separate. Not a big deal. Just curious.

I love that readers are able to figure out who the mystery guest is from
a little dialogue and a silhouette of a leg.

Ah, you mean different from how they are in comics, not different from how I have been doing them here.

Simple function of the Photoshop tools I use.

I start with an eliptical brush, with spaces. (A)

It can also be set to vary the brush size at random. (B)

Then I draw the balloon shape. (C)

Fill it in and add a "tail". (D)

Then use the FIND EDGES filter to create the holding line. (E)

Recalling when Marvel did an issue of IRON MAN that had a "mysterious shadowy figure" at the end---which was SO obviously Titanium Man!

While I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of these issues, today’s final panel has me feeling like a young kid who is excitedly turning the page. It has brought back some good memories of those days.
