I remember the holding cells in Muir Island formerly holding the "baby" Brotherhood (Magneto, Blob, Unus, Mastermind, Lorelei), Dragonfly, Proteus,... but I don't know why I assumed the cells were no longer in use perhaps because I don't remember they weren't seen in later issues after the Proteus Saga.

And speaking of Muir Island and Moira, I know that when you created these issues you had no way of knowing where Marvel's X-men would be in the comics on the stands right now, but your work here, specifically relating to Muir Island and Moira, is like coming home after seeing the ravages of war.  I've read X-men comics for 40 plus years and, after what they're doing in the "real" Marvel Universe, this is now the only X-men comic I'm reading

Wolverine’s claws. Short. About the length of his forearms. Not blades

I’ve missed those. I was looking @ a cover a couple of days ago & the claws were about three times the length of his forearms. Do artists just not think logically anymore?

It’s why I love the classic artists. You understand exaggeration without pulling the viewer out of the image.
Thank you so much for these stories

Is anyone else seeing a little bit of Michael Golden in that headshot of Magneto? Or is it just me? (setting myself up a bit here!!!)

As much as I admire Michael’s work, I don’t really see him as an influence.

Understood Mr Byrne and there was no disrespect intended.
Just felt the shading was reminiscent.

No way I can think of being compared to Michael Golden as disrespectful, Raj!

JB,

It's great to see that Colossus has learned his lesson in confronting Magneto.
