As much damage as possible? Looking forward to how the fly behaves in the ointment. =)

BTW -- Looking ahead over the next few pages this morning, I've decided to add a page to give a scene a bit more OOMPH. So this "issue" will now clock in at 39 pages, all told.

Michael P. - I see your point. But to me, Cyclops is one of the tougher hombres in the Marvel Universe, even without his blast.

No, a depowered Cyclops could not beat Captain America. Nor, IMO, could a fully powered Cyclops. Nor could Loki or the Abomination. In my mind, NOBODY beats Captain America! YMMV, of course.

Thing about Captain America is that he MUST be beaten. That’s what makes it so AWESOME when he keeps coming back!

Defeat is not being knocked down. Defeat is STAYING down.

I love when a scene's floor is the bottom line of the panel, as in panel 3.

You're coming up with some wonderful 'sets' in this story.

Thanks.

One of the things that has grown out of my 3D modeling is a whole different approach to how I build my backgrounds—and this goes back to before I had the bright idea of using models in my comics.

Some of you may recall that I used a very primitive architectural modeling program to build the time machine set for OMAC. There I was looking to maintain consistency in panel to panel shots of a fairly complex set. But that modeler didn’t have much range, and it wasn’t until I discovered Strata that I really got going, building scores of models strictly for my own entertainment. It was in that way that I learned use of repeated elements—easy as cake in the models—added a layer of “realism”.

This got put to very good use in the GENERATIONS series, where I started building sets and vehicles a lot.

Thru this I learned to bring those same elements to my drawn sets, even when I wasn’t using models as my guide.

Change of plan. Did the extra page, and wasn't please with it. Doesn't seem worth the effort of doing it again, so back to the original 38 pages,

Sorry, but technically you lose nothing!
