It makes a lot of sense to me that MODOK needs a dental plan. He's a giant head that gets punched all of the time!

Indicia — that works. Now let’s see how many “scrapers” scrape it off.

You've delightfully captured the monstrous carriage / look of Modok. Does anyone know if Modok has ever received a proper origin / explanation for his unusual appearance and unique mobility?

In his first appearance MODOK was shown to be an ordinary guy who had been artificially mutated by AIM. I suspect some of you may be unaware of this, as you ponder what he’s up to.

Great Krypton, this is entertainment at its best! I don't know what I like most - the X-Men done as I feel they should be, the stunning art, the engaging story, or just the amusement of seeing your work again, Mr. Byrne.
I wonder if anyone agrees that Scott Summers is probably the second best team leader in the Marvel Universe, after Captain America. If I were a super hero on a team, I'd surely want one of those two in charge.
I continue to delight in this, as I feel bad for the unfortunate fans who will not get to see it. Thank you, Mr. Byrne!

Who “will not get to see it”? The Forum can be viewed by anyone.

And we thank you for that. But I fear there are too many people who have heard BBBS and think this is a clique type site that outsiders aren't welcome to. They can join and view it... but I dread that some are scared to dip their toes into the pool.

They don’t have to join just to view.

Meanwhile, the art thread seems to be loading more and more slowly as I add pages. Anyone else experiencing this?

Mr. Byrne, over the last week or so I have had the song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" going through my head on and off. I finally realized it is because every morning I check in on X-Men Elsewhen and read the title on page 1 - "In the Jungle, the Deadly Jungle" and it puts that tune into my thoughts...
In the jungle, the mighty jungle The lion sleeps tonight In the jungle the quiet jungle The lion sleeps tonight
A-weema-weh, a-weema-weh, a-weema-weh, a-weema-weh

Another great page today -- Modok sure is ugly. I'm finding Kitty's powers very interesting.
