It is interesting how inks can be so drastically different from one another while inking over the same pencils. Of course, I guess that's what makes some pro inkers more appealing for some than others. I have been favoring Mark Farmer, Brian Bolland, and of course, JB's inks. But there are plenty that I have admired over the years.
*Edited to add: To me, that last panel evokes a bit of Wally Wood (early Mad magazine era)

Darren... love the zip pattern. VERY early 90s Byrne feel when he was doing the duoshade stuff on Namor and IMAC.

Yes, all the inks are digital (Photoshop). Nothing tangible!

Very nice inks, Darren!
Paul - you are officially channeling vintage Terry Austin (one of my top 3 favorite inkers and my all-time favorite pairing for Mr. Byrne) - that page, especially the bottom two panels, is pretty darn amazing!

Paul. One of my only critiques or criticisms of the page you just posted... is that there is very little line weight variation in your Cyclops renderings (in the darks of his costume). It could use a little more thick to thin lines coming out of the big black shapes. Seems like a lot of the big black shapes feel the same weight the whole way around them.
Other than that minor critique... I think that's a really nice looking page!! Keep up the good work!!

You're too kind, Kevin! Thanks!Shane, thank you so much for constructive criticism. I see exactly what you're talking about. I'm still learning to get a handle on that. It's a fun challenge for me to keep at it! A side-note on this page which I didn't catch until inking - the fact that JB has Nightcrawler subtly holding a weed is just brilliant!

Paul, your inking on page 13 of #25 is instructive. I’ve not posted a version I did of this page and after looking at your work I found many places I needed to improve on mine. The last panel in which Kitty is shoving Xavier thru to the basement was communicated well in your inking choices, in particular the floor and the background elements, you seemed to see more there and made it look like a real space. Thor’s blow and energy FXS really helped sell the force of the impact on the first panel. Thanks for posting your work, it’s cool. I still am so pleased and appreciative that JB is creating this work, allowing us to both wax nostalgic and try our collective hands at inking his work.

Thanks, Craig, for the compliment! I also find motivation from other posted pages. I am also grateful for the opportunity to have this forum as a means to improve my inking. It doesn't hurt that it's so much fun to boot!
