Oh, and by the way. . . Let me save a little work for the online critics, should I ever come back to drawing comics:"___________ ago, Byrne said the "fire" had gone out when it came to drawing comics. Apparently he thinks it has reignited. It hasn't." Cut and paste, guys!

For those who are interested, here's the page I used as reference:An interesting lesson to be learned here. Marvel used to push their balloons up against the borders, while DC insisted on floating them. Look at the placement on this page. If the balloons had been done "Marvel style" there would have been no reason to cover any art in that top panel!!

That's a nice page JB! I see it has all the characters from the DC horror books of the time. Adams was basically doing Toth on the witches.

Yep, thats what I meant. I actually had originally typed "produce more comics" but changed that due to the Star Trek work you are doing. But yeah....draw more comics is what I was after.

What talent Mr. Adams has! That page is too fun, did he ink it himself?

DC's three witches from the Witching Hour and later the Unexpected are vaguely reminiscent of Sabrina and her two aunts, Hilda and Zelda. Earth-1 counterparts, perhaps? If so, is there then an Earth-1 Archie? Hmmm...
This is a fun commission! I, like others here, am enjoying the "retro" vibe of it.

Super creepy! The contrast between the clean outline of Miss Cynthia and the grubbier backgrounds is excellent. This reminds me of that issue of Strange Tales (?) in which Nick Fury had to deal with a Hound of the Baskervilles-type situation.
