Another one from the old sketchbook, which I think may date all the way back to 1993:

Another great one Peter.  And you claim you're not an penciler!
I see a bit of Clint Eastwood in there. No?

Here's my daily practice.  Yet another generic female face (no reference).  A poor follow up to Clint.  I'm still learning where you are allowed to put lines on a younger person's face.

I'm participating in Inktober 2022 to continue my journey with dip pens. The prompt for this was Scallop.

Nice touch of whimsy in the design of that creature Vishard. I have yet to
venture into dip pens. Hope to see more of your progress! Are you on social
media? Maybe I can see more of your inkTober stuff there?

Thanks a lot Joe. I also like your drawings. I post my inking progress on Instagram vcc.art22. Dip pens can be pretty unforgiving but because of that it tends to make you more decisive in your line choices.

I certainly considered myself a reasonable penciller at one point. It's the inking that I've realised I'm no good at.

Forgive me Peter, looking back that was Paul Willis that made that claim.

Ink is cruel.

Not in my sketchbook, nor did I draw it, though I kind of half-conceived it:

I asked an A.I. art app to draw Namor in the style of Arthur Rackham and then I added the text after.

Wow some really nice work here by all!
Peter, I recently have been playing around with ai with my own art just for fun. I upload my drawing and it interprets it. Some very interesting results
