I like it -- I wonder what some of those light pencil tones might look like on the tree/forest -- I just think the main tree on the left looks a tad too "bright" and drags the eye.

I love it though -- this moment (old uniform) in X-Men 109 is one of my favorites

As I mentioned the last time this came up, the single biggest problem would be that I would have to "cheat" to get to my starting point. If I literally picted up with the "next issue" after I left, there would already be a lot of Chris' baggage I'd have to deal with. Kitty announcing herself to be a "genius", Scott QUITTING instead of taking a leave of absence. So many of the REASONS I left!

Mine as well.  I like that he is in the uniform from the end of JB's run - as if this remained a part of his regular training regime. 

I always liked how this revealed his ability to be calm and steady.  And dare I say compassionate!
