JB about your background... When you are doing something like this. A city at night. When you are laying it out. Do you do it all when penciling or do you leave room for detailing when you ink ?

JB.•• Have I ever mentioned how much of a kick I get out of a simple phrase like that? And I don't mean the praise -- for which, much thanks! -- but the fact that there is such a thing as "my" Batman. That there are people who can make an association in their minds between my favorite character* and me! __ * On days when it isn't Captain America. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I imagine it must have been a joy doing the Batman/Captain America book. The enjoyment I got out of that was unforgettable. Knowing now how you feel about them. It must have been a projection of the fun you put into it that made it so timeless.

I love the small touches. The windows that are not lit up still have the bars drawn over them. Very cool.

Very elegant... love the clever way that the dark backgrounds really make Batman pop out that much more!
