Very nice, JB.  Really like the graveyard/cemetery.  Great angle and attention to detail that goes far beyond the generic.

Also like the flaming skeleton.  You've got a real knack for portraying really "hot" looking characters.

A great commission. I like the choice for the scene, everything really comes together on this one. Excellent outcome, no one can really do Wolverine justice like John Byrne.

I usually prefer Wolverine in costume. It is images like this that make me want to change my mind. Well executed piece. The grey tones really make this pop. My next full sized commission will utilize the grey tones.

Love the way Logan looks in this commission. Great job with the skeleton. The background is incredible. Heather looks as good as usual. I always enjoy seeing her drawn by JB. She is one of my favorites from AF.

Oh WOW! I know it gets said all the time that this commission is your
best yet, and they are. But this one is by a giant leap forward. This
piece is exquisite.

-The highlights on Logan's face are great. His expression seems as if
you might have channeled a bit of Mike Zeck.

-The hat and his hair have so much motion.

- The grey tone textures are amazing; and your inked wrinkles are spot
on. They really work together to make those jeans work as well as
making that jacket seem well worn. The metal toes on the boot are a
great touch too.

-I love the grass and plant life. My favorite is the bunch growing out of
the pot, where your signature is and the tree. Between them and the
tombstones being a bit unkept, this is one cemetery I would want to
avoid; and that's before the wicked looking smoke effects and
skeleton.

-Heather's expression is great and her hair and hands are perfect. I
love the grey tone on her dress as well.

You've really outdone yourself this time JB.
Congrats to the commissioner from a very jealous man.

I'm imagining a WOLVERINE miniseries done in grey tones by JB... with Logan dressed as the 'drugstore cowboy' and in the era where he was mysterious and still underexposed... Marvel's alternate reality for sure!!!

-C!

That could actually work very well for the next story, especially if we tinker with format, as may happen.

Woohoo! More pages to put on hold through Jim. How proud can a fan be if JB uses something you suggest in a comic?! I know Nathan has to be proud of helping to facilitate Aftermath.
