Same with me -- DCBS sent me a reply to my email enquiry saying the cancellation appeared on a list from Diamond, but they enquired about it after being asked by several customers -- and it was a mistake.

Whew!!

That VARIANT cover should only be available to customers who buy 10 copies, clip 10 original coupons from the inside of the front cover and mail them in.

Imagine the news reports:  "John Byrne makes fans destroy comic covers"

Just read this .. can't stop flipping through it again. It's great fun! The Trio look a little strange, but I remember how odd the X-Men seemed when I first "met" them. I'm very surprised how young Colin and presumably the rest of the team is. I can't wait to learn more of Nautilus, who is so very similar to the Sub-Mariner in the early FF era, but knowing JB's storytelling, it's never that simple!

Don't hate me guys, but...

 

I got to read "TRIO" #2 a day early. ;-)

I am not allowed to put it out for sale until Wednesday, of course, but that doesn't mean I can't check it out so I can recommend it to customers.

I will hold off on giving my opinion on the issue until the official thread for the second issue is posted.
