I'm not making this up - a few nights ago I dreamed that I saw an
incentive cover inked by some artist I had never heard of, and it was an
image of Scissors and Paper merged into one - Scissors' head and
arms, but moving across the night's sky with Paper's flat, elongated
body.

I probably read this forum on my iPad in bed right before falling asleep!

I'm looking forward to hearing the sales on the first issue!

Hm... maybe those numbers are already out there?

The only sales numbers I care about are the ones that say it's selling enough to keep going, so the people enjoying it can continue to enjoy it and JB can continue to make it.

How long has it been since JB's been on a monthly ongoing comic? I'm not counting Next Men, since that was "only" 9 issues, then a gap, then another 4 of Aftermath. Basically it was a couple of miniseries.

But Trio... imagine issue 12! It'll be a whole year in a row worth of JB comics! Then issue 24, two years! And so on...! How long has it been since that was even a possibility?

I think JB's last ongoing series was Demon or Doom Patrol... can't remember which one ended first.

I can't either. Both of those ended around 2006, which makes it almost 6 full years, but for some reason I thought there was something after.

Here's hoping for a good long run of Trio, anyway!

Also, to add to the excitement we get two JB comics this month. When does the next issue of Aftermath arrive?
