You'll have a bit of a wait on that! Some interiors, of course, as necessary, but I gave them a "secret headquarters" and decided it would be fun to actually keep it. . .   secret!!

JB: I want to emphasize, tho, since some of you seem determined to keep picking away at this, that I am not presenting TRIO as a blindingly original project containing concepts like nothing you have ever seen before! In fact, many of the things you will see in TRIO are quite DELIBERATELY like things you have seen before.

---

I totally dig it! Reminds me of how Danger Unlimited FELT like the Fantastic Four -- but quickly became something very different! I get an FF vibe from TRIO...

Chief, can I ink a cover? IDW doesn't even have to pay me, I'll do it for free.

I'll just keep asking every day.

Very excited to darken the door at the LCS again, the guest inker for covers is a cool idea! I'd love to see Mark Farmer or John Beatty brought on board!

I'll be getting this along with Cold War soon. Looking forward to a good classic superhero story by JB.

Does IDW have a digital program similar to Marvel and DC? It's so much more convenient to click a few buttons to get new comics than order them or make the trek to the book stores for me nowadays.

IDW has indeed a digital comic store. Their comics are also featured in COMIXOLOGY, which I´ve adopted because it allows me to have comics from all publishers (except Dark Horse, it seems) in just one app.

Y'know, "lizard" and "Spock" would be perfect for the all-but-inevitable IDW Star Trek crossover....

JB:  "But in the over-arcing storylines, I decided to borrow a page (more than one page, really) from Stan and Jack's playbook and just keep upping the ante every issue. Just keep throwing stuff at the characters (and myself!) and hope we can all come out of it more or less whole and sane!"

*****

There is a lot of fun energy that is coming from those cover images - now I am starting to see why the IDW marketing folks made the reference to your Marvel work - I feel that same energy from these covers and sneaks

But, as always, looking forward to the full stories!
