The blurb should have read, "fans of awesomeness, this is for you!"

Unless my eyes deceive me...

Rock's trunks are solid black.
Paper's costume is all white.
Scissors' outfit is black with white highlights.

Neat.

Chief, can I ink one? I'd do it out of love for your work.

Well, I have said I want the "feel" of TRIO to be such that if the Fantastic Four made an appearance, you would not be entirely surprised!

Pardon me for asking JB, but will TRIO be a entirely self-contained universe with it's own history and characters, or is there a possibility of seeing any guest stars from your other creator-owned works?

JB said "... Paper is TWO DIMENSIONAL"
--------------

Not swinging at the easy ones, but I see this wide open to some interesting ideas, considering JB's interest in actual science and not comic book science.

Looking at the panel on the previous page, Rock already has his texturing/ coloring and nothing else is colored in the panel. JB, are you adding this before you send the pages in?

( Damn top of page posts!!)

I was referring to the drawing of Blok on the cover of Superman #8. When I saw the two covers (Superman & Trio) next to each other that was the first thing that popped in my mind (and I like both covers).

Paper looks so fragile to me.  It will be interesting to see how JB uses the character in a fight.

I can see Fred Hembeck doing a "Paper meets The Human Torch" gag sometime in the future...

••

Yes. I built Rock's texture out of several real rock textures I found online, and am adding it myself to each panel he's in (except the really tiny shots). Look, ma! I'm a colorist!

This may not persist, as I plan to "evolve" him over several issues, and his texture will almost certainly change.
