I really should not have started kidding around about "X-MEN EVERMORE". I haven't been able to stop myself plotting out the first four issues! GAH!!!!!

I'd prefer to put your point of deviation as the original ending of #137. That way I (selfishly) get to see you handle the new team, and at the same time you get to keep the pussification of Cyclops from happening.

Was there an Ultron story? I don't recall. Based on what's swirling so annoyingly around in my head right now, I'd say you'd see nothing of what Chris and I originally discussed, save possibly the death of Mariko.

Of course.
I just got asked by my editor if I'd like to do a series of articles on
something. Told her I really had no interest and no ideas. Now my head

Best way to inspire yourself is to tell yourself you have nothing to say
about something. There's a part of the brain that just loves to go "oh
yeah? Think you know me, do ya? Suck on this for a while then..."

I just got asked by my editor if I'd like to do a series of articles on something. Told her I really had no interest and no ideas. Now my head is full of about three hundred of 'em. •• Howard Mackie learned that trick a long time back. He knew just which buttons to push in my head. That's how I ended up on STARBRAND!

IIRC, the Ultron story was suppossed to be either right before or right after Dark Phoenix (saw some handwritten notes with plot summaries on here years ago-only two or three words for each issue. Does anybody have a copy of that thing that they can post?)
