Originally called "Drone" by Bill Mantlo, it was Roger Stern who suggested
the less drowsy "Swarm".

I remeber the first time I saw this character on Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, he really creeped me out.

This pic is just as creepy (in a good way)

Richard, that was the first time I saw him, too. Creepy is right! I never
would have guessed he'd show up as a JB commission. It's the bees' knees!

Wow. That's pretty frikkin' awseome. I love how you've taken on the shading on the Swarm figure. Very nice.

The swarm of bees looks really cool, too. Did you use some pencil shading on this as well?

And those lead bees breaking the panel border are showing some extremely cool depth. Damn. Cool stuff.
