I absolutely love the bulked up, beefier Batman! This may be my favorite Batman illustration I've seen from you, and I've loved them all. Although you say you were channeling Miller, anything to get you several steps away from your Neal Adams influenced Batman.

Yeah, heresy, I know. But Adams' Batman does nothing for me (even though I recognize the artistic mastery behind the work).

I was expecting Frankenstein's monster. This is an intriguing image and works very successfully.

Batman's right hand has Miller written (drawn?) all over it. Beautiful work, John!
