"Atrocitus"? Sounds like an attempt by somebody to pull off an old-time Stan Lee name, like Annihilus.Keyword, "attempt".

Brad K., I've had a lot of good luck with eBay on collecting figurines that I missed out on before I started picking these up. Most have been reasonable in price. I have most DC, it's the Marvels I've missed early on. I try to get a few figurines all at once from one seller to keep the postage down if I can, most sellers are cool about packing altogether to keep costs down. Seems like the UK has most of the figurine market and I've been dealt with well there.
Also, Mid-Town Comics is a good source for back figurines from time to time, just check their site to see if older ones have come back.

With shipping, though, the cost of the figures is almost double. I can get some "on sale" at Midtown and only pay 1.5 times what I would at my LCS, but that's still over 20 bucks per basic figure.

I'm hoping for a good Star Sapphire, that's about it.

I like the idea of "storyline subsets"; I'm hoping for some Crisis on Infinite Earths figurines in the Perez style.

Picked up The Question. I'm only a "passing fan" of the character, but the sculpt spoke to me.

Picked up Cosmic Boy, Black Lightning and Mr. Freeze. Nice to finally start some Legion characters. Thought they did a great job on Cosmic Boy. Only beef is no Legion ring, but guess I could paint one on, maybe. Black Lightning is okay, would have preferred the original costume, this one is a little too much of a Cockrum Lightning Lad vibe to it, but that's not really a bad thing. I'm starting to group my Outsiders, so that's nice. Mr. Freeze was the surprise for me. When I first saw the design, I wasn't really too excited. After picking it up though, I really like it. They did a good job with the paint and I really like the glass helmet. Looks cool.

Got a Hal Jordan today at my LCS!!!
Also, got a Superman and Hawkgirl. I can't believe the Hal came in! It's like a Christmas Miracle!

Very cool, Brad K. I just need to pick up a Riddler. I need to start picking up the early Marvels now.

Congrats on the GL, Brad! I'm eager for more LSH figurines. I'm glad Eaglemoss is doing "the founding three," but I really want folks like Wildfire, Dawnstar, Tyroc, etc.
