I phoned Eaglemoss up today. They say that I subscriber I should get my first figure within 14 days. So that means we subscribers are a full two weeks behind Joe Public. Oh well at least They are on the way now. I am desperately looking around now for new places to display these figures though.

They send them out 2 at a time so you'll be up to date with the Superman release

"Got my Superman today.  Nice."

So...um...why no picture?  You can't come in here and say you got it and not post a picture, especially when you are the only one with the danged thing!

:)

I got Superman yesterday. He is great ! Very nice paint job, the work on the eyes is awesome, you can see the pupils of the eyes very clearly.
The cape and the body are from two different pieces put together (unlike Thor for example).
My only complaint is that Supe's is far more less muscular than Batman !!! The muscle density is less than Hawkeye's for example. The emblem is very well painted.
Another complaint about the book is that most of the drawings are from Jim Lee (like Bat's book). There is a complete page about JB's work on the Man of Steel.
Like Batman's book, no poster, no technical data (speed of flight, the mass he can lift, ...)
I will send some pics as soon as I can, like a Superman/Thor face to face, so you can see for yourselves the quality of the figurine.

Next : Flash !!!

That's such a perfect pose for Superman. There's so much they could have
done in the way of dramatic, action-packed shots. bursting chains, even a
pseudo-flying shot, with leg bent and arm thrust forward. But to capture
him like that, just that fraction of a second before he takes to the air -- it
gives me chills! (And it doesn't hurt at all that in the best John Byrne
"tradition" he is clearly "leading" with his chest!)

If you notice on the extra magazine that comes with the DC Figurine Magazine on the back page talking about the making of these models on no1 frame it looks like a tiny model of Thunderbird one on the model makers desk.

Finally made it to Ireland. Picked Batman up the other day. Just wondering where to put him. Have to make room near the Marvel guys.

I've avoided the Marvel ones because I don't need more stuff accumulating around here, but that Superman looks so iconic and right...
