Got Kilowog and Detective Chimp the other day, and they are both great sculpts! Next week I'm going to snag Captain Atom, as I didn't have enough to get all three this week and still afford the beautiful new Green Lantern Omnibus.

Got Kilowog and Captain Atom today. Kilowog is not even a head shorter than the Anti-Monitor. That seems odd to me. Great lookin' figurine, though!

Of course, Anti-Monitor, like Galactus, could never properly be in scale with these figures unless he was made 18-20" tall and weighed enough to kill a grizzly with a single swat if necessary.
I'm more disappointed that Hal is so much smaller than Guy and John. Even posing the four Lanterns (so far) together, he's the one that stands out more than Kilowog because of his diminutive stature.

The QC on scale has been a joke for both collections.

I picked up my Kilowog, Captain Atom and Detective Chimp last week too. All very nice figurines.
I've only seen Detective Chimp in the Fate one shot comic a couple of years ago and an episode of Batman: The Brave and The Bold and I really liked him. Nothing wrong with a talking ape who solves crimes.
Until Eaglemoss comes out with some more DC animal figurines I'm grouping him with fellow detective Batman and his bunch.

A couple of pics from the figurine forum. The offending Myx/Mite sculpt that will NOT be a con exclusive, but widely released...somehow. Bat-Mite will have the black section on his cowl. I love it, looking forward to getting it.

And all of the Blackest Night sub-group. I will probably get Star Sapphire. Maybe.

I'll get Star Sapphire, Parallax and Black Hand.
It seems like there are a lot of other characters that could be made, but the Blackest Night stuff is "hot."

I'll probably wind up with the Star Sapphire and Black Hand, but even then I'm hard pressed to find the motivation. I read and enjoyed Blackest Night, I have all those characters in action figure form, and even I'M sick to death of this colored Lantern thing!
I dropped the Green Lantern books because of it, and went straight to trade so hopefully the intervening few months will be enough of a break because it's just too much. If it isn't enough time away, DC is about to lose another family of comics in my collection, after Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, JSA, and JLA.
Honestly, it's like they're trying to throw my money back at me!
