I'm not familiar with the artist, but that is a nice piece Fabrice. I'll post the rest of my C2 E2 pick-ups. My scanner is finally working like a champ and I have them all scanned.
These are the pencils used for the cover to The Marvels Project # 4 by Steve McNiven.

I knew I wanted to get a sketch from Doug Mahnke. But I was torn. Being that he is the current Green Lantern artist I wanted to get GL. But I absolutely loved The Mask by him and John Arcudi. Here was my solution. Getting this sketch was possible by the kindness of others. I was trying to keep a place in Mahnke's line and Dodson's line at the same time. As I stated up thread John Popa was kind enough to hold a place for me in the Dodson line. Both arrived at the same time and I was at Dodson's table when Mahnke started taking his list. Another fan who was standing behind me was kind enough to pay for my request to make sure I would be on Mahnke's list. I didn't really know the person (seen him at a few other cons) and was blown away that he would do this for me. When I saw him again I paid him back and couldn't thank him enough for doing this favor for me. This is why I love going to cons. You don't just meet the stereotypes. You meet really cool people with common interests.

The great thing about C2E2 was that if a guest wasn't signing at the DC or Marvel booth you had pretty easy acces to them. One booth I kept hanging around was the Kubert school booth. Before the show even started I ran into Andy Kubert and he had some predone pieces for sale. This is the one I was lucky enough to grab.

Nice Batman. It has a Jim Lee vibe.

Back in 2006 at the Wizard Chicago show I was one of six names picked for an Adam Kubert sketch. The first four names were guaranteed. I was one of the last two. I stayed and watched Adam do four amazing sketches but when he was done with number four the con was closing for the night. He told me if I ever saw him at another show he would do one for me. Well, he is a man of his word. I watched him do 5 awesome sketches this time. He couldn't have been nicer putting up with me for four and a half hours. Asking about his work, his dad and anything else that rambled out of my mouth.

Paul - you got the best Kubert by far. I wish Andy had brought some Captain America with him. He only drew the character for a few years!

Last two from the con. This art was used for some toy featuring Roger The Homunculus. An unused cover from the B.P.R.D. The Black Flame mini-series.

This thread has been on fire recently! Mignola stuff looks great, Paul! Lloyd, your latest contribution is appreciated as always! I always like to point out that Saviuk is really underrated. I like his Joker in that piece.

The thread is on fire....but at what cost?
Poor Paul... penniless and on the streets. With only his art collection to keep him warm...
C2E2 is now Paul's new crack.
