Thanks Steve & Fred.  As I said, I have adored it for years.  Fun to share it with others who love this work as much as I do!  :-D

Enjoying this forum tremendously.  Just discovered the ElseWhen art pages!  Looking forward to printing them and inking them with Ellie...

Oh, if you'd like Jason, I'll try to get some close up photos up here as well.  It really is pretty.  thx for the interest.

I discovered the XMen Elseworlds pencils today, and there are *pencils* of Colossus getting blasted, which is reminiscent of this OMAC shot, but this OMAC page demonstrates how much dimension and detail JB's *inking* also adds.  I think, "Incredible!".

I also have to joke, you have no idea how many people have asked me why I have "a picture of an exploding guy on the wall" as they inch their way towards the exit.... :-|
It's nice that people in this forum are appreciating this.  :-D

Oh, and to the master himself - John Byrne:

With admiration and appreciation, thank you so much for so much!!!

Yes, please post close-ups, I love seeing the work that goes into these pages. My favorite pages in my collection have white-out and blue-lines and pencil marks all over them (which unfortunately never show up on the scans). I bet that duo-tone looks amazing in person.

Hi Everybuddy,

Loving all these commissions!!  I was wondering if someone could answer a question for me: has the thread where JB Forum members posted their fan-art been closed/deleted?

Thanks!
Marc

Hey gang (Jason in particular), I promised you some closeups...  I'll try to upload 3 here.  Some pretty tight restrictions on file sizes, but I think I've got the hang of it.  Here is the first one. :-)

Last one, this includes the quadriceps which are 1. beautifully rendered, and 2. demonstrate OMAC's great strength (despite his regrettable circumstance).  Just a great contrast...  Jason, I hope this gets you some of the detail you were looking for.  Thx all!  B
