JB,
A quick technique question for you, if you don't mind: I hope I can explain this right, but other artists sometimes trace what looks like a white outline around characters that are up against a black background in what I can only imagine is an attempt to have the foreground 'pop' out from the background.
In this commission, I noticed that Galactus does blend with the background, which I think makes it look more realistic.
Have you ever used the "white outline" technique before, and could you comment on how this should be properly used?
