What would Spider-man's webbing be attached to, what is he hanging from?

What I think is so special about this commission is how it creates it's own totally believable reality so well. It makes the comic book world so believable and tangible. It's flawless really. I think that is a trick that is more and more difficult to do over time.. such as through-out an entire comic. But in one commission, with Jb's genius, it at least makes it possible to have no breaks in reality. This is also what seperates true comic artists from wannabes, the ability to make pencil and ink lines not look like pencil and ink lines anymore. It's the perfect illusion.
I also want to go on record, I too believe JB draws the best Spidey ever! I can't get enough Spidey commissions.

Favorite commission yet. Due to both the characters and the layout.

Flagpole, higher up the side of the building we're
looking out from.

JB, have you ever drawn a Dark Knight Returns style Batman?

There's more plot, story, and character development in this one
commission than what I've read in several month's worth of story arcs
from many current "hot" titles.

He's hanging from an Avengers Quinjet, returning from saving the world with the Beast and the Wasp, (who thinks Peter should have a steady girlfriend, and even picked out the flowers).
He's late, and per usual Parker style, had to have Batman set the date up thru Catwoman. Felicia hasn't talked to him since he blew her off the night Aunt May fainted at Grand Central Station waiting for Mary Jane to return from Hollywood. She was attempting to coerce MJ to talk to Peter about his bad habits, and maybe even settle down and have a family.

Have to agree with the "best comic I read this year" comment! This one's so good it hurts-- as in "hurts to see how good comics COULD be."
These commissions are a gift -- thanks for posting.
Reminds me of that old MAD magazine feature: "...Scenes we'd like to see".

nice design. although a depiction such as this one makes me wonder how
Spidey will eat with that mask. never quite sure how the mask connects to
his head,at the bottom of the neck or under his chin?
