Oh, and by the way, the more I look at the Cyclops figure in this series, the
more I like that costume. I still don't like Cassady's art in general, and I
wasn't even fond of JB's take on it in the Cyclops thread, but it looks good
on this figure.

Hey, there could be an FF story in there somewhere, Thomas.
Poor Willie Lumpkin, unwitting pawn in Doom's fiendish plan...
The Doom figure is sweet, but I'm a little ho-hum on the Fantastic Four from
the photos I've seen.
Anyone who has them, are they better in real life? They just don't seem to
capture that classic FF look or personalities... (Though the Thing one is
pretty good on the personality front)

The Thing is excellent. Torch could be a bit better, but they aren't doing any of these in flying poses, which would have helped him a lot. I don't have Sue or Reed yet, but Reed could definitely have been more dynamic from the pictures I've seen.

Yeah. The Reed is the old standard Reed-Richards-Action-Figure-we-
can't-afford-all-new-moulds-so we'll-just-change-one-arm pose. Reed
stretches at the waist and practically flies into action that way! Too hard to
fit into the packaging constraints?

I'd suggest one of the larger bases, with the figure centered to reduce tippage. Anything would be more stable than the black costume Spider-Man figure. It would be nice to see Super Skrull get that attention as well.
