Speaking as one who has been accused in the past has anyone ever considered that people who are labelled 'trolls' might have a low post count because they get duffed up whenever they express an opinion that goes against the tide?

Have I got enough posts to be allowed to be ornery now btw?

Thank God! It's so frustrating when we're trying to have a nice conversation about how terrible everything is in the comics world today, and how everyone in charge of the companies is doing everything wrong, and suddenly there's some unscripted drama as people's "personalities" interact in unpredictable ways!

Leave the human element at home, folks - this place ain't called "Byrne Robotics" for nuthin', I'd wager!

The only unpredictability I like is not knowing if a thread I've been following with interest will be suddenly wiped from the record, with no chance to ever refer back to it, because the wrong person said the wrong thing at the wrong time - got to admit I love this idea - it's like combining comic book talk with Russian Roulette - the added element of uncertainty intrigues me!

Some boards just lock threads that have gotten too heated, but that's an inferior solution sometimes the wrong people make some pretty good points or strike too close to home - locking a thread like that does nothing to erase the stain of an ugly or inconvenient point of view being shared!

Maybe we should be upgraded to Human 2.0 - although I note that Dan has downgraded himself since the last visit - run out of bacofoil Dan?

I felt I needed something that was more reflective of myself and my social mores.  Of course, the Dock-TORR must still die.

Nice to see you back.

Thank you.

My pc was comprehensively fubar necessitating an upgrade - even my sonic screwdriver couldn't save it this time - oops! what a give away!

This has got me thinking that I need to shut up for a good long time and
learn strength, because it's so hard to be civil when there are such complete
dicks who like to come to this board.

As my first act of strength, I'm not going to mention the first name that
comes to mind, even though one has already weighed in on this very thread.

Geez, I hate dickheads.

Mike I have to admit that one made me laugh. There's something to be said for keeping records. If I could go to Marvel and tell them the same thing, maybe they'd get that point finally. One thing I love about coming to this board is the back and forth with the various viewpoints. Let's try to keep it clean, though. I don't have kids, but many of you do. Thanks to the mods for their work!

Al Cook: We need one of those "What are you Looking At Dicknose" T-Shirts like that guy in Teen Wolf.

So what's IN a sonic screwdriver anyway? Orange juice, vodka, and ...what?

OK. I don't care if this gets this thread nuked or gets me nuked or what.

Fuck off, Ivor.

(So much for strength.)
