I'll nuke the whole thread, no matter what it is

-------------------------------------------------

Does that include this one..?

-------------------------------------------------

Y'know, I wanted to ask that, but I was afraid I'd get in trouble.

Can I just add that you are an incredibly handsome and powerful man, Mr. Byrne!

Uh, Brad - that sort of thing belongs in the "Boys Will Like Boys" thread...

Woo-hoo!  JB's got an Atomic Death Ray Blaster ™!!!  Yet another reason to visit this site more...!  Now I can sit back and watch the fireworks....

And on a more serious note:  I do hope "Mr. Grumpy" does not need to show often.

Aric Shapiro: Seems to me like there has been a real lack of civility of late.

To me, it seemed more like an increase in people leaving their brains at the front door.

In other words, I am glad JB's got his diligent finger on the trigger of the Atomic Death Ray Blaster ™

Perhaps it should be mentioned that the "Big Brother Is Watching You" pic comes from the 1956 film of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four - which, by the way, must be one of the most ludicrously watered-down movie adaptations ever.

Joe, I think I've seen that film.  It finishes with Winston blasting the Big Brother troops with a machine gun. Seriously.

Spot the difference!

****

Compared to "Peyton Place" it's a seeringly accurate chapter and verse adaptation!

Sometimes you just have to wonder what Hollywood was thinking.
