"And Al, I do not even speculate as to what goes on in a chap's trouser
region"

Really, Jo?

"I find it incredible that men can be sexually aroused by a line drawing" and
"Must be terribly inconvenient" would suggest differently.

Honi soit qui mal y pense Al.

All I'm saying is that If every time I saw a cartoon of a guy my mind wandered onto the question of whether they were hot or not I would find it most inconveniently distracting  - but then I never was much good at multi-tasking (lol)

And Mr lomisceau that's ms Harvatt if you don't mind.

But just to revert to the "Men are more visual" assertion I think that is a bit of a myth - Joakim is closer to the truth, men are just more easily aroused full stop.

And that suits me just fine.

Dudes get boners. It happens. Sometimes it's not even for any reason.

Whatever.

Your premise still seems demeaning. The "men are awkward and strange"
message is still coming through.

Most men I know are never thinking about their own sexual responses
enough to ever be "distracted" by them. We have them. They're normal.
And we don't pay them too much serious attention. In fact, they are so
normal and mundane that the only use they are is for a bit of humour, as in
"hey guys, isn't Marge Simpson attractive in that drawing?"

Neither of them have a sexy voice, though, Joe.

Now Valerie in the Scooby Gang, now there was the complete package!...

Valerie was in Josie & the PussyCats. You're probably thinking of Daphne.

And I agree.
