Two incredible images! I particularly like the shading on Colossus.

JB,
You got me fascinated with your work on Iron Fist and his chi-related
powers because you have this grand way of explaining things as
logically as possible given the conceits of the genre.
In true comic-book science, how do you see the 'Iron Fist' working? Is
he manipulating energy to give his fist some type of repulsive field?

That's what I figured I'd do, assuming I do it at all.
Of course I wasn't making any assumption, just a suggestion. Regarding the second image just posted, I love it.

Absolutely beautiful. I think JB has the best handle on the armored form of Colossus of any artist who's ever drawn him, much better than even Dave Cockrum himself. I prefer the "steel cable" look over the "steel plate" look that Cockrum gave Peter in his first appearance.
Stupid fanboy question: What would Peter's armored form look like if he was out of shape, or if he put on a little too much weight?

Iron Fist looks like he could take them all in that version.
No way dude! He may be able to knock Colossus back with his fist but that is about it, he couldn't harm him. I'm sure he would do just fine getting away from Colossus though ;)

What would Peter's armored form look like if he was out of shape, or if he put on a little too much weight? *** Nobody -- at least, nobody healthy -- has zero body fat. Since any that Peter has seems to disappear when he transforms, I would assume there is no limit as to just how much would be thus affected. If Fat Peter turned into Colossus, the fatty tissue would disappear (perhaps going where his leggings go), and he would simply look like a soft-muscled version of himself.

So if Iron Fist could somehow land his Iron Fist on Superman, he'd mess him up real good. Now, landing the blow would be the hard part!
