Big day at Casa de Hollon:
That is my art haul that arrived today courtesy of Jim Warden. What you're looking at is all the remaining pages from JB's JURASSIC PARK limited series from a few years back! I'll post the highlights here (a couple covers and a double splash) and eventually the individual pages at my CAF gallery. Just had to share! Thanks Jim and of course JB!

He friended me on Facebook. He posts commissions there all the time including in process photos. Sure would be nice if the new powers that be gave him a series at Marvel.

Stupid question time - where do you guys get your art from? I've mainly been finding pages from the obvious vendors (i.e. the comic art dealers you can find on google), but when I look on Comic Art Fans, people are buying/posting things that never hit those sites. Are those just peer to peer sales, or am I missing something?

I buy many from the artists and Many from auction. I’ve lucked into a few pieces through private sales with current owners.

I mostly buy directly from the artists or from their official dealer if they have one.

Jason, There are a wide variety of ways to aquire comic art. The best is thru CAF as you mentioned, there is so much art posted on that site and thru dealers linked on the site its easy to miss piece that are posted. Besides OA dealers, CAF members will post art for sale either in their galleries or in comicartshop which is where premium CAF members sell their artwork. Directly from artists is the best way to buy art many have their own websites, Facebook pages on deviantart.com. There is also the auction sites like ebay, Heritage, Comiclink and Comicconnect. There is also the miraid of comic conventions from the massive like SDCC and NYCC to small local one day cons.
