I thought it was an effect of the Gamma Radiation that turned his pants purple.

I THINK I read that somewhere.

Anyhoo, since my front room is now my office, and I'm going to be moving the stuff from my den/comic book room into it, all my goodies are in plastic bins at the moment. Once everything is shifted, moved, and in place, I'll snap some pics and post them for your perusal.

To whet your curiosity (hopefully you're curious), here's a couple of things not torn down yet!

Say, Gene -- how big is that 50s style Batmobile? I can't get scale here.

It's the  Johnny Lightning metal kit. I don't recall the scale off hand.

The Batmobile in the center is an original Corgi model that I customized, and the 40's style next to the 50's style is about the size of a Matchbox car if that helps. (It's a Johnny Lightning mini metal kit.)

Edited to add:

I  checked, it's 1/24 scale, about 11 inches long or so.

Thanks! It's the one I have, then. It looked larger, and I was afeared I had
missed something!!

Gene, I love your JSA collection.  Is that Wonder Woman the original, or Hippolyta-retconned-as-Wonder Woman?  I dont' recall the Golden Age Wonder Woman being much of a sword wielder.

It's just Wonder Woman.

(The box listed her as Golden Age Wonder Woman. So I have no idea whether it was the retconned version or not. I figure WW was a member so she needs to be there whether it's Diana or Polly.(Cool move BTW JB. My favorite part of your WW run was putting her back in the JSA lineup). I don't have a suitable Batman or Superman lined up yet, but I will soon hopefully. OH. and this was taken before I got the Al Pratt Atom figure. He's on the shelf now as well!)

edited to add:

ACH! I forgot to mention my Johnny Thunder! I fixed up a Jimmy Olsen figure to be stand in for Johnny Thunder. He's on the shelf as well.

It looks like a nice figure, from what I can see; I may need to hunt one down for my collection.  Is the sword removable?  I'm not a fan of Wonder Woman wielding a sword that's become prevalant in the last 20 years or so.

The sword and shield are removable. Also she came with a cloth skirt, which I took off , and promptly lost. (get yer mind outta the gutter....... it looked dumb on her. Cloth doen't work well at that scale, so I ditched it!)
