I haven't read Spiegelman's book.  I'll have to check it out.  As for the other thing?  Be nice....

She appeared most recently in last year's Union Jack mini-series sans her JRJr eighties style original design.  While I enjoyed the mini, it is tiresome that the writer found the highly original concept that nobody had ever done before of making her team-up with the current Arabian Knight.  Can we say, cli-che?

Ignorant of gay culture, Al?  Good thing I'm putting out a new angry gay comic book about two queer brothers and their reactions to DOMA.  One brother embraces the homosexual community and gets a job at the HRC, promoting Hillary Clinton's 2012 presidential run.  The other brother creates a comic book character called "PIG-BOI" who goes out and seduces those lousy politicians who created DOMA and gives them their just reward (usually in a public restroom -- lots of foot-tapping and angry, blunt art).

You can read all about it on my blog.  You can reserve an advance copy there, too.

But hey, this doesn't count as self-promotion, does it?
