 | The dialogue off page gives me chills - I am just loving every panel of this!

I don't think anyone has captured Colossus like JB, and it is accentuated in
these pages. His huge presence is an artistic achievement, but through the
writing we are seeing the youthful, more vulnerable aspects.

I like the way Kitty's "Peter!" follows Xavier's. She knows something is wrong because Professor X reacts to it.

I'm thinking lifting Colossus out of the drink would be within Marvel Girl's abilities.

I’ve always subscribed to Jack’s interpretations of Jean’s telekinesis. In an early issue she rescued Warren from a swarm of female fans—about half a dozen—by lifting them into the air and allowing him to get away. These were full grown women, so we could comfortably assume they each weighed more than 100lbs. So, six or seven hundred pounds, which Jean lifted with minimal effort.

 | Also, she was seen lifting four or five soldiers in full kit, probably close to half a ton. Stan, on the other hand, wrote Jean as unable to lift more than her own weight.

 | Like I said, it may not be necessary. Just don’t want any of you caught off guard!

Since, all this is is on gratis, there are no complaints, but it's good that you are always thinking about us readers, John

I'm all for Jean being powerful in her own right (independent of the Phoenix) and I'd bet Stan would be too if he were writing in "modern" times.

 | No worries at all, Wallace - I am grateful for the help! You are indeed correct -
 that's exactly the line.

I really like the way JB makes use of Kitty's powers to move us through the first few panels of page five.
