I absolutely must take this opportunity tell one of my
very favorite stories from my decades of comic and comic
art fandom:
When I visited JB's in 2014 I got to rummage through the
famed flat files and was surprised to discover quite a
few pages from EARTH ANGEL remained. I mention this to
great pal and all around good guy Paul Greer who arranged
to buy all the remaining pages through Jim Warden for us
to split.
Paul received the pages and brought them to a con...I
believe it was one of the later versions of what was once
MidOhioCon. We had an NFL/NBA style draft as to which of
us got to walk away with which pages, taking turns
selecting our favorites until none were left. So fun! I
came away with 7 total pages which I charish.
