She IS strong. But she shouldn't have to worry about defending herself against physical attacks on her own. Pelosi granted her a security detail after Trump first started shit up against her, and Johnson took that away - and I'm sure she'd be happy to have that extra sense of security back. Who the fuck wants to live with that sense of constant wariness? And why should she?

As impressed as I was by Omar's physical reaction, it sadly
bespeaks how often she must be confronted by crap like
this. Even frequently heckled pols like say Ted Cruz get
flinchy at immediate physical threats. I'm sure she's had
plenty of encounters that haven't been publicized.

So, now they're arresting journalists, huh?
No arrests of the ICE thugs who murdered Alex Pretti, Renee Good, or Keith Porter. No arrests of anyone in the Epstein Files but...
This will be thrown out just like the other idiotic cases but it doesn’t matter.
They want the headlines of the arrests to scare others... that’s all this is about. Intimidation.

That group, along with liberal, but anti-Biden supporters who differed with him over certain issues are people I have more of a problem with than MAGA voters. MAGA voters WANTED Trump back in office, but the other groups mentioned supposedly did not want Trump, but just couldn't support Biden (or Harris) over some policy disagreements, and they helped get Trump in office again because they were so damned shortsighted to realize you could at least reason with Biden or Harris. Did those fools actually think Trump was going to be better for them?
Yeah, they sure showed Biden, huh? I believe the phrase that applies here is cutting your nose to spite your face. Sadly, the rest of us have to also pay for their foolishness, literally and figuratively.

Absolutely. Look at those communists in those blue states.
You absolutely need a state of emergency. So of course you can’t run
elections in a state of emergency.
And as we all know, he backed Zelensky, who has an actual war going on,
when he delayed elections, as written into Ukrainian law.
