WHAT THE HECK!!! Can't believe we are getting this deep into the issue so quickly, that's another X-Citing page!! Nice to see the gang back together again!

Thanks John, this may well be the best thread EVER!

The pages keep getting better and better. So much fun, storytelling that actually moves along within the space of a few panels, exciting action... It's good, I tell ya!

If that were in a comic these days, peoples heads would explode. Not that Wolverine would care.

Oh, surely not. The whole point is that nothing actually HAPPENS in the scene.

I missed the "spanking", to be honest, but it was clear they were rough-housing (friendly). Kitty is young and can't control her powers yet thus slipping through the plane......what a GREAT cliff hanger, literally.

I'm chomping at the bit to see how this is resolved!

And to all the daring wanna-be inkers, I've really enjoyed seeing each person's take.

In fact I think this has been such a fun thread, I wonder if it could become a regular exercise????

Hey JB, I'm having trouble making out all of the detail in the Blackbird panel. Would you mind sending the page to me so I can get a closer look? ;)

I want to make a prediction on what happens next, but I
don't want to jinx it. Better to keep any ideas to
ourselves.

OK, coming back with some more reaction after going back for a second look. First panel, love Kitty's pose, the looseness you've captured in her shoulder.. and then I checked out Wolverine's face at the back and it made me laugh.
