Chris you're doing a bang-up job.  IDW is my #1 comic company.  The collected editions IDW puts out are gorgeous.  The Library of American Comics and the Artist's Editions are magnificent.

How's that for slavish fanboy adulation?  ;)

Seriously, you guys are great.

On the subject of HIDDEN YEARS, I think Tom shot and kept full sized stats of all the pages he inked. They would not be in color tho, so far as I know.

And, yes, while the lettering is "paste up", it's all on the pages, done with the Copi-Tak method I used to use.

Hey Chris,

Please see what you can do about convincing JB to try a
TRANSFORMERS project somehow...given his talent for robots and
machinery in general, I'd love to see him do something with the 'Bots!

That's a great idea and a perfect solution.
Part of the appeal of these editions is the border notes made by the artist to the inker (or colourist) so even though I've looked at JB's X-Men comics run a million times, seeing the notes wouls add so much more.
Please persue this option!

I've already scratched my DREDD itch. WHO I am still working on getting my plotline to a point I'm happy with.

Looks like IDW has the rights to The Spirit. I would love to see some JB Spirit stories.

The Spirit would be a lot of fun. Of course, Dr. Who would be as well!

The Spirit! Yes! Ever since I heard that DC didn't have the rights anymore, I've been hoping IDW would get it. Based on everything I've read from IDW so far, they always seem to respect the properties they publish and the Spirit, in my opinion, really has to be done in a certain way to maintain the charm that Will Eisner put into it. I'm excited about this one!

Wellll... we have a partnership with DC to do the Rocketeer/Spirit book, and the Eisner Artist's Edition, but we don't have the rights to the Spirit beyond that.

As for Judge Dredd, JB, you might've done Dredd in the past, but you haven't done *our* Dredd, so I'm sure that virtual knock on your door will be coming some day. Steel yourself.
