 | JB, That looks great.  Nice to know you have something to fall back on if this "drawin' pitchers thing" doesn't pan out. |

So far the sculpt looks very interestingly close to Kirby's drawing.

 | Will you try a full body sculpt later if you feel happy with the result?

No plans for a full-length Hulk -- or anybody else!

 | Here's the painted version. I feel a wee bit presumptuous, putting it on the same shelf with my Bowen pieces. Kind of like hanging one of my pages in the Louvre!

After posting those two pictures, I decided to move the piece to a lower shelf, to emphasize the glower.

 | JB: What medium is that?  Wax? Clay? (I know almost nothing about sculpting, so those mediums might not even be correct!) MPH |

It's called Super Sculpy, and it's the same stuff I have used before to make various statues -- like the Fin Fang Foom piece I gave to Jim Warden.

 | This time round, tho, when ordering the Sculpy, I also ordered some real sculpting tools. They work so much better than the wrong end of a brush and a toothpick!

 | Neat! Have you ever considered doing bronze work?  Or doing clay models to later be cast in bronze? MPH |

I'll be putting in an order with Jim for a Heather Hudson bust.

Um, but as busts go, Heather's was not JB's most impressive...
