Since I already had a running Batman, I thought why not a Superman Breaking Chains. Next month will mark exactly 50 years since Superman 233 hit the newsstands. Neal is still going strong and drawing 50 years later. He is truly a machine!

Got my commission from Ron Wilson. Part of my continuing effort to get something from as many of my childhood comic artists as possible;

Doug, that's awesome. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing.
I met Ron Wilson at a comic con about a decade ago, and got a head sketch of the Thing from him. I consider Wilson to be one of the definitive artists on the character, up there with Kirby, John Buscema, Byrne and Sinnott. Those issues of The Thing written by Byrne and penciled by Wilson were a lot of fun.

I took advantage of a "quick sketch" commission offer from Romeo Tanghal. Here is the result....Darkseid!

Well this is amazing:
Steven Butler's take on MTU 68! I requested Scarlet Spider in place of Spider-Man. I don't usually go for the color pieces like this but I think it turned out GREAT!

I finally filed the Frank Miller sized hole in my collection. And it turned out to be a Batman inked by Klaus Janson circa 2020! I have posted this in the CGC sketch cover thread earlier, but it's only now I got to post it in CAF.
Check on the link and see the before/after Klaus Janson finishes.

I saw this on Walt Simonson's Instagram feed today and had to share. These are the pencils to a roughly 22x30 inch Thor montage commission that Mr. Simonson is working on currently. He mentions that it might be awhile before he inks it due to other deadlines, but wow this looks cool. I am looking forward to the inked version and want to point out that besides JB I have never seen anyone else work at these large sizes. Enjoy!
