That just might be the most manic JB has ever drawn Wolverine. He really does need some time to heal. I guess his metabolism burned through the sedatives?

JB, this is kind of a selfish request, but I'd really love to see an Alpha Flight appearance one day. We got a glimpse of Northstar and Aurora earlier, which was great, but I'd love to see you draw some of those characters again in a story.

I'm glad that Wolverine isn't being depicted as unbeatable in this series. I do hope there are some wins in his future though.

Trust me, I am, Stephen. I admit it's a selfish request. :)

I’ve already drawn a couple of pages with members of Alpha Flight. My habit of skipping ahead to clean scenes out of my brain. But the way I’ve been shuffling pages, that particular scene keeps moving further and further away!!!

What use is sedatives for one such as Wolverine? (In my worst Silver Surfer impression)
I'm really glad to see that his little 'cookout' is having some longer-term ramifications. This page-per-day format was prolonging how much I was thinking about the implications of what he was going through. (e.g. one night last month, I was barbecuing a steak on the grill and noticing the blood coagulating and bubbling up under the heat. I was imagining this happening to Wolverine's muscles and blood vessels - then healing, then repeating over and over and over). Imagine the emotional trauma from that - even without his brain literally cooking as well!

...some longer-term ramifications...••• Yeah, short of miracles, there’s no way for this to get done in a hurry.

Wolverine's muscle anatomy is so precise. I love it.

Good grief! I would need several packages of Depends if I saw Logan coming at me in that state! That is the most savage I have ever seen Wolverine, and it is a thing of beauty. And did I mis-see it (likely) or did I see some of his hair actually standing on end?
Pablo could handle Wolverine again, and now that he's attacked Pablo's little friend... yeah, this probably isn't going to end well for him.
And THIS is the page that finally and completely convinces me... Batman beats Wolverine. Not that I really had any doubts... but this is graphic proof. SO beautiful!

I've never seen Wolverine so enraged and unhinged.
