I like the Ventriloquist -- I like that he's a bit scary and simply batshit crazy and I like that Wagner/Grant were trying to come up with new villains rather than just cycle through the catalogue of oldies but goodies (or baddies). I really enjoyed the feel of Detective Comics in the late 80s, with Breyfogle's art. It had a distinctive, noirish feel without losing any of its fun and Batman was still Batman -- an awesome detective, controlled, smart and intimidating, but not a psycho badass.

The first appearance of the Ventriloquist was great. Particularly when Wesker fingers Scarface to Batman. Scarface attacks him for ratting him out. Fun times!

An unrelated ventriloquist story: Bob Newhart says in his autobiography, "I Shouldn't Even Be Doing This!" that ventriloquists are even more psychologically and emotionally unstable than stand-up comedians, and straight-facedly (one supposes) illustrates his point with a story of a ventriloquist who tried for years to "break up the act" and put his career on some other path. When nothing worked, he chartered a plane and leapt from it to his death, leaving behind a briefcase.

Inside the briefcase was a note that read, "The dummy pushed me."

Ventriloquist maybe.  Giganta & Vixen are doubtful and I have no desire for Hellblazer at all.

I liked Hellblazer (when he was simply John Constantine) in Swamp Thing,
but I never cared much for his ongoing series.

Both of those get a big ol' WTF. Negative Man looks ridiculous, is he doing 'the robot'?  And Cassie...good grief. She looks like an old woman trying not to look like an old woman. Worst face sculpt yet. Butt ugly.

Those may be two of the worst figures  I've seen.  I would't have guessed Negative Man (MAYBE Unknown Soldier?) and the Wonder Girl makes my eyes hurt.

...and the DC Figurines enter the New 52.

Edited to add: Negative Man looks more like The Unknown Soldier to me.
