Today’s pick up at Half Price Books. When I was a kid, my dad worked for Hostess, and my first high school job was dressing as Twinkie the Kid and handing out product at store grand openings. So, I had to have this!

In looking for some information on the Art Gallery of Nova
Scotia, I stumbled across these Pop-like artist figures:

LINK

Each figure has its own "thing" - ie van Gogh with
removable ear, Dali with interchangeable moustaches, etc.
Very tempting!

Magritte would be the one I'd get. But that is not a pipe in his hands!

The various Funko tracker pages have leaked overseas photos of a Mattie Franklin Pop, which will probably end up as part of Amazon’s 60th Anniversary Spider-Man “Beyond Amazing” collection. Will post the picture when it’s officially announced. She’s in her final costume that she had for the last 6 issues of the series, including the psychic legs.

There have been various X-Men and the movie version of Bloodsport, but I think it may be the first Pop of one of your characters that is based on your design?

She had been drugged by a boyfriend so he could use her genetic material to make a superpower drug (weren't her powers mystical in nature?}, then she was killed off by the Kravinoff family as a test run for a ritual to resurrect Kraven.

So yeah.

She briefly came back when the new Jackal cloned everyone connected to Spider-Man who had died, and she got some closure with Jonah.

Altho there have been POP! figures of characters I have drawn, I am not aware of any that I created. There's a Kitty Pryde, I know, but the version is far beyond mine.

When the character is unrecognizable, I don't exactly feel my cockles warming.

When I first read your statement, I thought ‘Surely not. Alpha Flight must
have been done’

But, sure enough, they have not been.

Wow

I see in the latest Entertainment Earth catalog a plastic figure of Homer Simpson as the Buddha.

I assume Muhammad and Jesus will be following soon?
