My descent continues... Saturn Girl arrived and is in my LCS pull box for next weeks end of the month clean out. Not counting the extra Power Girl from ECCC 2011, that makes two so far, with Dr. Midnight on the way.

I picked up Saturn Girl as well, Bill. She looks great. Nice to have another Legionaire. I have her next to Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy. I also moved Superman over next to them so he straddles both the Legion and the Justice League. Maybe someday we'll get a real Superboy to put next to them instead.
I also picked up Orion, who looks pretty darn good too. Now with Orion, we're finally getting enough New Gods to start grouping them together. So Darksied, Big Barda and Mister Miracle are all hanging with Orion.
I also picked up the Saint Walker. Not a character I have a lot of feeling towards, but I like the figure. He looks good. So, next to the Green Lantern area for him.

I've picked up Big Barda and Saturn Girl. Barda is awesome, a nice imposing size and stance. Saturn Girl is nice, but my goodness that outfit shows a lot of skin. The 30th Century must be a lot warmer than it looks. Very pleased with both figures.

I just caught this, I don't pay much attention to the figurine forum anymore. Apparently, Eaglemoss has cancelled the DC collection, ending on issue 100. The forum has organized a letter writing campaign to try and convince EM otherwise. If you'd like to join in, this is where the letters are being directed: Alex Neal Eaglemoss Publications Ltd 1st Floor, Beaumont House, Kensington Village, Avonmore Road, London W14 8TS

Based on the recent crop of figurines from their DC line, I see no real need to encourage Eaglemoss to continue with it. As I noted a while back, they seemed to run out of "classic" characters there even quicker than at Marvel!

I was hoping Eaglemoss would continue the series at least until they finished the Legion of Super Heroes...just so that Brad Brickley could have the whole set, and wait patiently next to them during stormy nights.
(edited because I can't spel)

Yeah, I had a feeling the Legion was going to get short-shrifted. Time to break out the modeling paints...

I think there are plenty of good DC figurines left to make, but seems like Eaglemoss chose, or had chosen for them, some modern characters to make the quick buck or some other reason I can't fathom.
Well, now that I've basically quit comics and these are going away I guess I'll just have to buy commissions or something.
