I didn't want to create a topic just for this, but I am wondering whether this would be good value (130 issues, £1,100+ over time):

Nice!

...although, I still like my 1/1000 model better! I did consider coating it with glow-in-the-dark paint, but decided against it. The Eaglemoss model executes the effect nicely!

Fun tidbit: Eaglemoss' Constitution class models (big and small) look to be based specifically on the CGI Defiant model made for ENTERPRISE.

There's something about glow-in-the-dark anything that I just love, love, love, love, love.

That ghostly green is just so quietly eerie & mysterious!

That PHASE II model definitely takes a few liberties with the design (as drawn by Jefferies) and the VFX model (which was near-complete when the show was scrapped). Most notably, they just stuck the TOS sensor/deflector dish on the front of the secondary hull, which doesn’t match the references, or Jefferies’ intent of a more streamlined, enclosed dish. By and large, though, it’s a pretty accurate reflection of the intended design.

That all being said, it’s really cool to see this model being made. If I didn’t already have mine, I’d snap this one right up. At the very least, I’d love to read the magazine that’ll come with it. Best part of this collection. I bought the first volume of the hardcover books which collect all of the magazine articles on the ships.

Agree Greg. When I compare the Star Trek magazines with the Marvel Collection magazines. It's like it is a totally different company.

The "Build The DeLorean Collection" has been out a while in the UK, but now it's coming to the US:

Anyone interested?

I've been snapping up the Hasbro STAR WARS 40th Anniversary "Black Series" versions (in retro-packaging) of the original 12 Kenner figures from the '70s... I only need to get Obi-Wan and Han Solo, and I'll soon have 'em all.

I passed these by last year, but something suddenly clicked for me this year and I thought, "I need to have these!"
