I'm interested in adding to my figure collection. What site has the best prices and largest selection of figures?

Bowen Wasp-o-rama

The Modern Wasp actually comes with wings for the full-sized version of Jan, but I didn't attach them, because a human-sized Wasp with wings is weird. There's another version of the statue with the Wasp's blue and red outfit from the 70s, but I'm still on the fence about that one because the head sculpt looks a little bit off.

Is Mark Newman still with Bowen? He should just do all the female heads.

It's supposed to represent the after-image/motion blur of rapid shrinking, but yeah, it is confusing that it is just her feet and legs. Perhaps the full-size and wasp-sized pieces should have been solid, while the transitional size would have been completely translucent?

For those who missed out on getting Kaiyodo's Revoltech action figure of Yoko (the GURREN LAGANN movie version), she available again as part of a Revoltech set:

A curious cross-section of comics on the wall, there. It's fascinating, to me, to see the books that have special meaning/significance to different people.

Isn't that great when that happens. Her face is just so pretty.

Has anyone seen this HAL 9000 from Artifactory? Is it worth $500? I'm a
big HAL 9000 fan and it's tempting.

James,
I ordered one and it arrived yesterday. Was expensive but it really well
made. They used machined aluminum for the case and optical-grade
glass for Hal's eye. They did their research its very accurate in appearance
and and a very good reproduction of Hal's voice. Has 15 quotes from the
movie, played randomly. You can use either voice activation or use pretty
much an IR remote to have HAL talk (it can also be used to shut him off).
Run on a 9v battery and has auto shutoff after a short time of inactivity. I
like everything about it except you can't turn off the voice activation and
just use the remote. That is a minor issue. For anyone who does get one I
recommend using an apple remote (used for AppleTV) also aluminum and
looks great with HAL. You don't have to program anything HAL just looks
for an IR signal to start talking (hold down the remote for 5 sec and HAL
shuts off).
