Looking more closely at that ED-209, something is missing, It looks like ED went on a diet.

Looking more closely at that ED-209, something is missing, It looks like ED went on a diet.•• It also seems to be supported by vertical shafts in the back, not free standing, so the balance is off.

First pictures from Wave 1 of NECA's 'Pacific Rim' figures:
Those are the Jaeger machines from the movie - America's vintage model 'Gipsy Danger', and the three-armed Chinese counterpart 'Crimson Typhoon'. There's also going to be a toy of the 'Knifehead' Kaiju, and I expect NECA's going to release some of the other mechs/monsters further down the line (Australia's 'Striker Eureka' looks nice and 'Macross'-y, so fingers crossed that it gets a toy at some point...).
Got to say, I'm glad NECA got the license for the movie - they've got a great track record for collectible-level sculpts and paint apps, but without sacrificing articulation á la McStatues (and frankly, some of the recent McFarlane toys haven't even been well-painted/sculpted, either). These ones actually use ILM's cgi models from the film in the same manner as RealScan likenesses, so I imagine that the actual toys will look incredible in the 'flesh' (...plastic?). If they're at least as good as NECA's 'Predator' or 'RoboCop' offerings, I'm going to be a very happy camper indeed!

Heads up for Ryan Maxwell:
Good news - They are doing a Puck in the 6" Marvel Legends scale. Bad news - It's a Build-a-Figure for a Wolverine wave.
Also, the 3.75" scale version hit the online retailers, so he should be showing up on the store shelves soon.

Looks like the S.H. MonsterArts line of Toho Movie Figures is going "Showa-era": 
From WonderFest, the 1964 "Mosu-Goji" or GODZILLA VS. THE THING version. EDIT - Hmmm... I wonder if the PACIFIC RIM Jaeger Mecha figures posted above will be in the same scale as these...

I picked up the "busts" of the Enchantress and the Executioner, which satisfies my "need" for them.Still thinking about custom building a helmet for the Executioner. Should be easy enough...!
