Mr. Byrne - Your Vision comment is dead on! I also looked at The Vision and thought, WOW! someone put a lot of effort into this, but is that really how people think The Vision looks???

Sigh...

Thanks Al!

I thought the Alfred E. Neuman versions of the DC Superheroes on Page 4 to be rather disturbing, but at least there are some more classic BSG Cylon figures on the horizon.

Ugh.  Way more misses than hits at the Con, and some full on stinkers.  The large scale movie Cap in the USO costume is terrible. They went all out to make what was wrong with the costume the most prevalent details.  And Doom really has some artisans working overtime making his armor all pretty.

I just realized I'm going to have to finish the paint job on Northstar's right leg.  They only did one of the light bursts over his boots.

The George Perez Black and White Batman. I don't know if you've been asked this JB, but have you ever been approached in using your artwork in making one of these mini statues?

One of the freelance sculptors approached me to do a few sketches on spec. I did. He worked up a sculpt, but no takers. Don't know if it was the sculpt or the ongoing prejudice against me.

I thought it was very amusing with the Perez statue came out a while later. If they'd packaged that as mine, I doubt very much anyone would have been able to tell the difference!

As of now I only have the Sergio Aragones, the George Perez, and the Jim Aparo (Which is on order as he was my definitive Batman artist growing up)  Batman Black and White. I was hoping that sense yourself and George Perez have always been my favorite comic book artists that I could round up my collection with a JB  Batman. I still hope it happens someday, Thanks for answering my question.

Here are some picture I took of the Batmobile at Comic-Con today. Yes, it is about 3 feet long!

The veiny stuff could go away, but the face is perfect.

Sorry about that empty post yesterday, my iPhone didn't like me trying to post... Or maybe I was struck dumb by that Batmobile announcement. Oh my, is all I can say. I better start saving.

What I was trying to share was this photo I took of a shop window in Singapore. That is a 12 inch Tony Stark, and that car is not even close to the lenght of that Batmobile, just to give us all an idea of what we're dealing with here.

What does it tell us that THIS…

…is probably the best rendition of "my" Storm that I have yet seen?

I mean the FACE!!
