The con exclusive Minimates tend to be readily available from the
online retailers after the con. At a discount if you wait long enough.

Good to know, thanks!  I always figured most of that stuff sold out at the con, to reappear on eBay at 10x the price.

HobbyLink Japan now has it available for pre-order at currently $69.68 USD for shipping in October, but I think our North American members ordering it through their LCS or specialty shop via Diamond might get it at a lower price.

[HLJ Link]

EDIT:  Just placed an order with my LCS: $60 + states sale tax with a November arrival still beats $80 + with 20-day shipping from Japan a month earlier.

Why does James have a picture of Sasquatch's face plastered on his chest?  (yeah, I know -- it's supposed to be muscle and anatomy, but I had to do a double-take because I was sure I saw Walter's face, but I realized that Walter wasn't in the picture, so then I found myself trying to figure out why I "saw" Sasquatch in that picture . . . and then I realized it looked like James had an iron-on image of Watler's face on his chest)
