Illustration for the Kotobukiya Bishoujo Huntress statue:

***

Definitely a possibility, depending on how the final sculpt looks like.  At least the griffin stand is not an overpowering element, like the previous Bishoujos.

Will have to pick up Shunya Yamashita's next art book with all these Bishoujo works

Totally reminds me of the Fantastic Four issue where Doom's mask attacked She Hulk in the Baxter Building! Great issue, JB!

••

Hm. Unfortunately, it looks like no version of Doom's mask I have ever seen.

Do they not even get that it's supposed to be METAL?

Yuck.

Thanks, Michael.

Kevin, that is not a statue but a "static" figure that WWE put out a few years ago. There were several wrestlers that were included with the series "Fury Unmatched" I think the series was called. All came with a ring corner. The others I have are RVD and Undertaker. The detail on these figures are amazing. The Mr. Perfect for example, has scuff marks on his boots and of course his trade mark towel. Really a nice figure of one of the greatest.

I missed out on the first go around. I found this set today at a comic store for a mere $11.00. Kane's head turns in the helmet to reveal a face-hugger that is attached to his face. The mouth on the Alien opens with the second set of teeth coming out.

I went to go buy my boys a few of the new Avengers figures and
about had a coronary. When did action figures become $10.00 A
PIECE!?

Terrible isn't it.  There's been a huge increase in prices over the past few years.  That's one of the reasons I stopped collecting.
