Sci-Fi Japan has coverage of the Winter Wonder Festival 2012 in Tokyo.  Plenty of garage kit giant Japanese monster goodness:

Now slightly regretting not placing that order for the X-Plus Mecha-Godzilla.

I really need to win that lottery soon, I could find a home for all those lovely Godzilla pieces...

JB: The "reveal" with Puck was the moment I stopped reading the post-me ALPHA FLIGHT.

---

Was that issue #32?

I was just looking at the covers online and I can't remember buying any of them after this one...

...I think the Puck thing happened there. I also HATED Heather putting on that suit.

Something I've wondered about Heather putting on the suit: How involved was she with Mac's development of that technology? If she takes a bad hit while wearing that thing, is she going to know how to diagnose and disengage the battery pack in less than ten seconds? If not, why would she wear it?

Given the period, it's a minor miracle Heather didn't suddenly discover a mutant power that allowed her to instantly understand how the suit worked.

I saw this thing and thought the Superman, in particular, was very well done, very evocative. And maybe the best dynamic Superman, and WW for that matter, I've seen.

Not sure which thread this should go in, so I'm putting it here:
